Kam Brock has recently filed a lawsuit against New York City after saying she was held in a psych ward for 8 days.
According to the New York Daily News, the issue started when Brock’s car was impounded by the NYPD, the officers also accused Brock of being high, even though no drugs were found. The next day, Brock attempted to pick up her car, but things didn’t go too well.
“Next thing you know, the police held onto me, the doctor stuck me with a needle, and I was knocked out,” Brock told the Daily News. “I woke up to them taking off my underwear and then went out again. I woke up the next day in a hospital robe.”
Brock then told the Daily News that what happened next was crazy.
“I told (the doctor) Obama follows me on Twitter to show her the type of person I am. I’m a good person, a positive person. Obama follows positive people!” she said.
And of course the hospital didn’t believe her. They also didn’t believe that she had a ‘real’ job. After 8 days of being drugged and forced to attend therapy, they released her.
Oh, let’s not forget the $13,637.00 from the hospital.
Brock has filed a lawsuit for unspecified damages.

What’s really interesting is that she was telling the truth. He actually does follow her on twitter. Her attorney was able to prove it.

Yeah I am still curious why that is something that would one of the first things to say. This story is interesting and we probably need more info like what about her family, job, personal doctors… Even if Obama followed me on twitter I don’t think something like that would come to mind, she doesn’t know him personally and he can’t vouch for her character or her mental stability.
This is not an excuse for her pysch ward hold…I just wonder. What she experience I am sure was just awful and a lot of people probably went way beyond their authority.

As Amber stated, there are pieces missing to this story.
This reeks of, “Hey, I’m one of the good ones….”

I was wondering if she raised her voice during her visit to the impound lot or act a fool.
March 26, 2015 -
Maybe, but she was at the impound lot. I’m sure they get that a lot. Now if she were on an airplane…

This story and others proves that we have civil liberty crisis in America (and throughout the Western world). Her story is certainly disturbing and she has been blatantly violated of her human rights and her dignity. She has every right to sue. All of the facts as it pertains to this story ought to be revealed and no one should experience what this Sister experienced at all. I hope that she is justly compensated.
