Tamron Hall

It’s official, Tamron Hall will now cohost the third hour of The Today Show!

“You know how important the Today show is to people, to viewers,” Hall said. “Now I’m finally on the sofa.”

Hall has most recently been a fill-in on the show, and will also continue to anchor her NewsNations how on MSNBC at 11 a.m.

Today’s executive producer Don Nash issued a statement welcoming Hall. “We’re really excited to officially welcome Tamron into the TODAY family,” he wrote. “She brings wit, enthusiasm and a keen sensibility to an all-around fantastic team, and I think Tamron, Al, Natalie and Willie will have a lot of fun together hosting the third hour.”

Congrats, Tamron!

Good for her but after the who Ann Curry thing (who was my favorite anchor on there), I no longer watch the “Today Show” even before that I was getting sick of it.

Chile, does this mean that Kathie Lee and Hoda got the boot? They were hilarious together. I stopped watching “Today” regularly as soon as Currygate occurred.

Anyway, Tamron is gorgeous and has a great personality. Congrats to her!

I always thought she was extremely attractive but, fell in love with her after hearing her story of who inspired her.

TODAY – For Tamron Hall, inspiration is all in the family.

As part of TODAY’s Inspired By series, Tamron shared who has motivated her on Friday: Her stepfather Clarence Newton Sr. Or, in other words, “The man I fondly call my dad.”

He became a part of her life after her parents divorced when she was just seven or eight years old. At the time, she said, “The only thing I could think about was my parents getting back together.”

Instead, her mother introduced her to Clarence. “We knew him, interestingly enough, because he was our landlord,” Tamron said. “I knew this person as Mr. Newton.”

Tamron called him “Mr. Newton” for the next 10 years, until one day she called home and he answered the phone. “I said, ‘Hey Dad, is Mom home?’” she recalled.
“I don’t know where it came from or what prompted it, but he was my dad at that moment and forever.”

I love her realness and I think she is going to be a fantastic host. I hope though that they don’t “AnnCurry” her.

I cannot stand this cut throat social climbing women! Every thing she wares, every time she opens her mouth and every move she makes is calculated to receive attention. Very self involved.
