Right Wing Militia Group ‘Oath Keepers’ Made an Armed Appearance in Ferguson

CMISExcUEAAzXpj

In today’s “WTF, Crazy White People?” news, an armed and dangerous right wing militia group who refers to themselves as the “Oath Keepers” made an appearance in Ferguson, Mo. last night.

The Oath Keepers organization says their goals are to “defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”

So while they’re in Ferguson, you can only assume they mean black people.

The Oath Keepers (what Oath you ask?) were armed with assault riffles and wore bulletproof vests. A few of the black protestors asked what their point was in being there, as well.

“I’m happy that we’re able to defend ourselves,” one Oath Keeper replied in footage from NBC station KSDK. “It’s been our right for a long time.”

The St. Louis County Police Department said it would consult with the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorneys Office about the legalities of the issue.

The Southern Poverty Law Center describes the Oath Keepers as a “fiercely anti-government, militaristic group.”

This is what needs to happen. Black people in Missouri need to register for guns and join the Oath Keepers. Let’s see how long they’ll keep their ‘oath’ then.

The caucasian male’s greatest invention was the firearm and he cherishes its power more than he will ever admit. These lunatic militia are not simple-minded racist clowns. They are a well organized, major threat, capable of domestic terrorism against the government and non-whites.
This is a white pride power stance with the sole purpose of causing mayhem by disrupting the BLM movement.

You are right on, Chazz, because nuts will teach their children how to fire a gun before the kid’s even walking. I think Frances Cress Welsing calls the White man’s gun, “The great equalizer.”

i need folks to quit labeling these types of people as “right wing”… let’s call it like it is. these are white supremacist terrorists trying to flex muscle among black protesters. they traded in their white hoods for camo gear & instead of walking around with wooden crosses & lighters, they brandish firearms & use coded language to intimidate black people.

wake up america! this is the face of WHITE. SUPREMACIST. TERRORISM!!!

No doubt, these labels are simply smoke & mirrors used to manipulate the masses. CoolChic mentioned the wings, well I say the left and right wings belong to the same damn bird, WHITE SUPREMACY!

There are a lot of things that come to mind. If a group of Brothers and Sisters were there with semiautomatic rifles and talked about human rights, then, the police would act very aggressive toward those Brothers and Sisters. One thing that white bigots hate is intelligent, armed, and strong Brothers and Sisters organizing for justice. The Oath Keepers is a group that I have heard about for years. They are a group who makes a fetish out of America and out of the Constitution. The Constitution once legalized slavery and they believe in states’ rights when they know full well how many folks have used states’ rights to suppress the liberties of others. The police never arrested the Oath Keepers or interviewed them for an extended period of time. It shows the double standards. Also, I know about the Oath Keepers and their views. Their views are synonymous with the views of the Tea Party, so these people aren’t some independent folks. It is ironic that these folks claim to stand up for the Constitution when many of the organizers of the Constitutions were overt white supremacists. These people are there in the midst of peaceful protesters, which show me that they wanted to intimidate the black people in Ferguson to act subservient to their weapons. Black folks aren’t buying this. We want liberation and we won’t bow down and worship no document made with human hands that once called us 3/5s of a human.

I agree. This reminds me (in a way) of being at my friend’s house for dinner and her husband saw Ferguson rioting on tv and did body language as if to pull out a firearm and fire rounds. My friend started screaming at him and they got into a loud argument. Get this; the hubby is Hispanic.

I understand you. One part of Ferguson’s history deals with racist covenant policies back in the day. These polices existed in the Midwest, the East coast and the West Coast where there were policies that discriminated against black families in terms of housing. So, economic inequality, housing rights issues, and racial injustice are serious problems in America. Some folks are so apt to worship a gun instead of standing up for justice for all.

The only good news is that those types of people are challenged more often than in the past, about their beliefs and behavior, by acquaintances, family or friends.

Exactly, Truth. Ha! We all know they’d find a way to take these brothers and sisters down before they even got within two feet of the police. These Oath Keepers march in like armed bandits ready to keep the Negroes in check. Why don’t they take that stance against the REAL enemies of the country? They won’t because they are cowards.

Preach Sister. The Oath Keepers say that they are fighting against “enemies” foreign and domestic. I wonder who they view as “enemies.” Also, one video shows one Oath Keeper trying to convince black people that Donald Trump is a great candidate. There are certainly double standards involving the Oath Keepers. Also, they would not take their actions against the real enemies of the world because of fear. Evil people can never crush the spirit of Brothers and Sisters.

I believe it, Truth. They don’t have the cojones to take action against the real enemies. Funny how the government turns a blind eye to White domestic terrorist. Can you imagine if, not only Black people, but Middle Easterners show up with guns to protect the citizens of Ferguson? They’d all be running around talking about, “These people are trying to bring down AmeriKKKa.

You’re right Sister. In the 21st century, there has been an increase of terrorism in America done by extreme white supremacists. Some folks love to use the term “mental illness” as a cover to minimize the abhorrent actions of these evil criminals. We should use money to handle mental illness, but we also need resources to combat these white supremacist terrorists who killed people more in America during this century (after 9/11) than what Muslim extremists have killed in America during this century (after 9/11). If black people or a mass of Middle Easterners were there with guns, we already know what time it is. Cops would have tried to arrest or kill them.

“The St. Louis County Police Department said it would consult with the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorneys Office about the legalities of the issue.” Hmmm. Supposed a Black militia group or the Black Panther Party showed up with armed with assault rifles to protect the community from the likes of the Oath Keepers. There need be no consulting with anyone. They’d be shot dead in the street like Mike Brown was. Interesting how they feign helpless when it comes to Whites with guns. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Ferguson police sent for these “protectors of law and order.”

Another thought came to my mind. These Oath Keepers were never arrested, but many unarmed, innocent protesters are readily arrested in the past few days.

Exactly! No they weren’t arrested because the police probably brought them in. Didn’t they arrest a 12 year-old-girl for crying out loud? This is the definition of insanity.

Truth, one thing my sister says is this is their heaven on earth because they are going to pay for the havoc they’ve wrecked on the world.

I saw an Twitter picture of the 12 year old girl being arrested. That is totally sick. One white journalist was almost arrested, but he said “I am Media.” These cops are totally out of control. They don’t care. Karma doesn’t play.

Funny how these “crazy white people” are able to not shoot and kill everything in sight. Give these weapons to some of those protestors and there would be a war.
