Open Thread: What Do You Want to Hear From Candidates During the #GOPDebate?

GOP Debate

The 2016 race for the White House is officially kicking off tonight with the first Republican presidential debate.

Tonight, 10 candidates will square off on Fox News to answer questions about everything from immigration and the Obama Administration’s nuclear deal with Iran, to women’s health and the recent controversy over Planned Parenthood.

Most eyes will no doubt be on the frontrunner, Donald Trump, but it’ll be interesting to see if the rest of the candidates, including Jeb Bush, will try to take down the businessman.

While the GOP candidates will predictably¬†take shots at President Obama and Hillary Clinton, it remain to be seen if they’ll address issues that are important to Black folks like police violence, the Black Lives Matter movement, access to jobs and education.

Will you be tuning in to the debate tonight? What issues do you want to see candidates discuss?

You are such a hypocrite. You are always preaching about equality but yet you approve of someone saying how they hate another group. You are not welcome here or anywhere.

You are fake and a troll. You come here to look for praise because in the real world no one likes so you have to seek out compliments from strangers

That debate was sick, I saw some real fire crackers tonight. Big boy was killing it and Huckabee is a force to be reckon with. Marco Rubio suprised me, and Ted Cruz won it for me…

Hey Clutchettes & Gents, what did you think of tonight’s debate? Who won, who lost?

From an unbiased standpoint (even though I have certain views), the best performances were from Marco Rubio, Ben Carson, and Kasich. The debate was filled with many people who weren’t shy about their views. The disappointing part of the debate is that it didn’t bring up the issues of police brutality, the Voting Rights Act, and the environment. The person who lost the debate is obvious.

Trump is a business man and the role of a business man is to make profit and drive out the competition. America needs a president who can bring america profit and drive out trade competition between countries.
