No one ever said Joe Budden was the sharpest tool in the shed, and his recent social media antics proved just that. Recently, Budden posted a picture of an elderly Sikh man at an airport on Instagram, with the caption “Not on my watch Homeboy!”
Racism and ignorance at its finest @JoeBudden pic.twitter.com/LgDwfBbY9l

Apparently Budden was stereotyping the Sikh as a terrorist because of the turban he was wearing. But of course Budden was schooled by others:
.@JoeBudden fails to understand that “stereotypical terrorist” jokes have gotten innocent sikhs killed, post 9/11, purely off of ignorance — Raginder ‘Violinder’ (@Violinder) March 28, 2014
@JaskaranDhanoa u niggas have got to lighten up b…. — Joe Budden (@JoeBudden) March 28, 2014
@JaskaranDhanoa oh please.. Everyday there’s a joke here in reference to blk folk & chicken/watermelon.. It’s a stereotype, not racism.
— Joe Budden (@JoeBudden) March 28, 2014
@JaskaranDhanoa sometimes the ignorant shit is funny… y’all should take this stance w ppl who REALLY feel this way & not jus who laughs @ it
— Joe Budden (@JoeBudden) March 28, 2014
Eventually Budden deleted the offending photo, and issued an apology:
I apologize to all Sikhs and any1 i offended w my tasteless & stereotypical post yesterday, it was ignorant & in bad judgement. Never again.
— Joe Budden (@JoeBudden) March 29, 2014
Hopefully ppl can find it in their hearts to forgive me, my God is a forgiving 1… today is a new day, here’s to moving forward !

In a never-ending world of celebrities saying stupid sh*t and being publicly called to task, you’d think by now they would be on their Ps and Qs. Social media and celebrities are like train wrecks, you can’t help but to look at it.

You know what? Joe Budden is so unimportant that I initially thought this post was about someone else. At a quick eye scan, I thought the post said “Joe Biden”.
Anyway, Budden is dead wrong, and this is indeed racist/racial profiling.
He would probably be the first one on twitter crying if someone racially profiled him.
Does he have a new cd coming out or something, because lately half of these faux pas appear to be intentional in order to promote some new tv or music product. He knows that he can do almost anything as long as he follows the faux pas with an apology. This asking for forgiveness instead of doing sensitivity checks/asking for permission first thing seems to be the norm now.

This how quick and proactive Black women need to against people who slander us.
March 31, 2014 -
Joe Budden please go away….like right now!
March 31, 2014 -
Smh idiot. Out here making us look bad. His picture and words are inflammatory, prejudiced and discriminatory. He should be ashamed. We need to quit crying racism only when it happens to us but we should also uplift and refrain from bashing other cultures. He’s ignorant. Yuck.
March 31, 2014 -
Joe is only making himself look bad.
March 31, 2014 -
I agree. He’s making himself only look bad. Damn hypocrite considering his ancestors know first hand about racism, discrimination and stereotyping
April 1, 2014 -
Im sure his PR team made him do that
April 1, 2014 -
Made him retract his pic and comments I mean.
April 1, 2014 -
He can’t afford a PR team.

What the hell is wrong with Black people?
How can Joe Budden seriously defend his actions? Being a Black man in America where Black men are being hunted and killed at an all time rate by whites because of stereotypes? He thinks stereotypes are funny? Where do stereotypes come from, if not from racism?
He’s too stupid for me.
