That is too scary! My oldest is younger than her but about her size. I want to let her have a bit more freedom, but stories like this make me want to keep her around the house.

I grew up 30 minutes away from this area, my two little sisters 15 and 17 are about this girl’s build and it’s their job to take out the trash every Monday and Thursday morning as I did when I was their age. Kids aren’t even safe in their own front yards. This hits so close to home and I seriously pray they find this girl safe and sound.

Another tragedy that I hope turns out for the better.

If something is a tragedy then it cannot have a good outcome. That negates the definition of the word.

For a second lets cease with the grammar and word policing. A child is missing, if you’re not here to wish her and the family well or want her safe return then please move on.

You absolutely can, definitely not taking that away from you however I’m free to respond to your comment however I wish.

I disagree. Being taken or missing or harmed in any way can be a tragic experience to those affected. However, her safe return would certainly be a “turn out for the better”.

Hope she is found safe and sound. I wonder if it was a neighbor or someone who knew her. That’s so scary. I feel so bad for her parents.

I saw on Facebook that Ledisi forwarded her picture and story since her father is a fellow musician. I sure hope she turns up OK. This story really hits close to home since I have a child in her age group.

Thank God. Came here for an update…I’m glad it’s good news. You know she’s in serious trouble after her parents are done praising God.

My Facebook kept the posting of this child missing and showed it as a memory that I shared. So I was curious to find out whatever happened to her. I praise God that she was found alive and well.
