This past Saturday morning, Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown — was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her Atlanta-area home by her husband Nick Gordan and a friend. Gordon “started CPR and a police officer took over life-saving saving measures until an ambulance arrived,” Roswell Police said in a Department.

Local news outlets report that Bobbi Kristina was placed in a medically induced coma due to brain swelling. TMZ reports that the situation is “bleak” for Bobbi Kristina and the 21-year-old has “significantly diminished” brain function and is on a ventilator.

“The report that Bobbi Kristina Brown has been taken to the hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, is accurate. No additional information will be forthcoming. Privacy is requested in this matter. Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time.”

Lisa Holland, a spokeswoman from the Roswell Police Department said they searched the home and did not find any drugs inside. Holland said she didn’t know how long Brown had been in the bathtub before being being discovered — and said there was no sign of struggle.

“We don’t leave any stone unturned.” “So the police took a search warrant on the home. Before the warrant, initially when the police went into the home there were nothing there that indicated that anything out of the ordinary happened. There were no drugs out in the open.”

Bobbi Kristina’s mother, Houston, died in February 2012 at age 48, having drowned in a hotel bathtub.

Our prayers go out to Bobbi Kristina and her family.

    She has been crying out for help a long time. It is coming up on the anniversary of her mother’s death.

    I am leery of opining about people I do not know, but here I go anyway. Judging from some statements, I suspect that in addition to missing her mother, Bobbi Kristina also suffered from growing up around show biz, but simply not being talented enough to partake in it. I know college is not for everyone, but I thnk she would have been healthier if she had gone to school, and broadened her horizons.

    I pray and wish the best for her.

      @Anthony

      And even if she could sing a little, who would want to be compared to Whitney?

    I stated on another site that losing my mom at 48 was hard enough. It’s a hard thing to get over, Lord knows it is. I cannot imagine a young girl/women going through it, especially in such a public way. Maybe she never really grieved her mother’s death, thus probably wanting to be with her mom. I totally can understand that.

    I pray she recovers from this ordeal, and that she get whatever help she needs. Thankfully, Whitney left her estate to BK, so maybe she’ll use that money to get help.

    All she needs is prayer and positive energy

    I can’t imagine losing a mother. Bobbi Kristina has been through a lot. Everybody wants her to recover fully. As the article says, every stone should be unturned, so there is a comprehensive figuring out of what precisely happened. Bobbi Kristina agonized over the passing of her mother. I only send my prayers, support, and encouragement to Bobbi Kristina and her family.
