Beyoncé Lands on the Coveted September Issue of ‘Vogue’ – Do You Love It?

The Hive is about to go nuts because Queen Bey has just landed on the September issue of Vogue.

According to the leaked image, Beyoncé will discuss her “global domination,” which includes hordes of adoring fans, sold out world tours, millions of dollars in endorsement deals, and her recent willingness to talk about social issues from Baltimore to Charleston.

The September issue of Vogue is the magazine’s largest and most coveted of the of the year, and Beyoncé is just the third Black woman to anchor its cover.

Rumor has it the notoriously tight-lipped star will also drop some new goodies soon to coincide with the magazine’s release, but fans will just have to wait and see if it’s true.

What do you think of the cover? Love it or leave it alone?

At first glance, I didn’t even recognize her. I thought she was a White woman. The cover is nice. She’s very pretty.

i was gonna say the same thing… in fact 3 bw on stands this month all look white in their photos (ciara, beyonce, alicia keys). it’s disturbing.

        SMH. It’s truly disturbing, Me.

        Erasing the black woman

    I don’t hate it but I don’t love it either. It’s ok.

It’s a great cover. Beyonce looks beautiful and dignified.

The pictures on the inside are not so dignified IMO (at least one of them anyway). They are online along with a behind the scene video.

        Thank you for the update.

Why is she posing like that?

I don’t really like it. I just saw the original and it looks better than the one posted here, but it’s still just ok

The wet weave, the ugly dress, the odd pose. Yeah, not feeling it.

Congrats on the accomplishment, but I am not feeling the cover (but then again, I think most American Vogue covers/spreads are boring compared to other Vogues around the world) I feel like she did this look before. I liked her last Vogue cover much better.

not really it’s typical of her, and it’s also photoshopped/edited to death. IMHO everyone involved could have done a better job (different pose, different dress, non-wet hair, etc.). I’m very underwhelmed by this cover.

    Not a good look

I thought I was the only one who thinks something looks off with the cover. White editors have a habit of deliberately making black women look underwhelming in photos. Case point, Kerry Washington in her swimsuit in Vanity Fair magazine.

I… love… it. Was this convincing? Please, I don’t want to be erased by the Beyency!!

Maybe it’s fashionable that the colors are dull, but I’d like to see her in contrasting colors or at least peach/earth tones and more natural hair. The pose seems off with the chest out, doesn’t look natural. She still looks good but could look better.

One must remember, Beyonce never does something without the probability of a financial outcome.

So here she is giving her “opinions” on “hot” political matters . . . .wake me when she is done!
