Marjorie Harvey Stands By Her Man, Steve Harvey

Last year, I wrote about Steve Harvey’s philandering ways and how he cheated on his ex with with his current wife. I always wondered how long it would take for his ex wife, Mary Shackelford, to come forward with her “truth” about her marriage to Mr. Potato Head Man Steve Harvey. Mary stayed silent for a while. Longer than I even expected.  In her silence, Steve Harvey, “wrote” two books with his female “ghost writer”.  Needless to say, either Mary got sick and tired of his new claim to fame as a so-called relationship expert, or she’s a woman on a mission to set the record straight about the man so many women have spent their hard earned money on.

Via a series of Youtube videos, Mary Shackelford, described her marriage to Steve Harvey, which was nothing to brag about, especially when she received a letter, presumably from Steve’s current wife, Marjorie, about his philandering ways.  In her YouTube videos, Mary accused Marjorie of being the woman Steve left her for.  Yesterday, Steve Harvey took it to the airwaves to put his ex-wife on blast:

“The part that’s hurtful in this is my wife and children had to be drugged [sic] into this,” a frustrated Harvey said on-air. “If you’re going to be vindictive go ahead and aim it at me, but my son is coming in the room crying and that’s also her son, so why would you do this?”

As of earlier this afternoon, Marjorie Harvey has secured legal representation in a defamation of character suit against Mary Shackelford.  Marjorie has called the YouTube videos “malicious & baseless” and plans on getting justice through the court system. Also, did I mention Steve Harvey is also suing his ex-wife because he feels she was the cause of him not getting a show on Oprah’s network. Oprah isn’t dumb.

Can you say A M B U L A N C E  C H A S E R?

So I get the whole, “I’m standing by my man” blah blah blah. But, Marjorie, if your man is a known cheater, how close can you stand next to him before you’re struck by lightening as well?  Why would Mary lie about you being the woman he cheated with?  Doesn’t she still own the letter you sent her?

I’m not a Steve Harvey fan. I’m also not a fan of stupid bitches people and their lawsuits (go figure).  Defamation involves lies, not truths and with truths that come to light, sometimes they hurt.  I’m sure Marjorie will continue to stand by her man, any way possible. I also hope, while she’s busy standing by him, that she realizes, the way she got her man, could end up being the way she looses him. You can’t teach an old cheater new tricks. History has a funny way of repeating itself.

For shits & giggles:

Steve Harvey is full of it. He dotes out senseless advice all on his show. It kills me that people who I thought were my intellectual friends are saying his book is telling the truth. One time on his show he told a woman to withhold sex to her husband until he started acting right. Are you serious?1 I can’t take advice from someone who can’t be faithful, stay married, and is just plain stupid. He bringing the boy in it so people can feel sorry for him and make the ex look like a complete a-hole.

” I can’t take advice from someone who can’t be faithful, stay married”…

Always thought Steve Harvey was/is full of himself. I really don’t want to be “Ignant” in the morning. But plenty of people love him.
Okay, just to be catty for a minute…
Current wife: Why are you dressed like a palace guard in the Wizard of Oz? O-we-o, O-WEEEEE-O.
Ex-wife: I just wanna reach in there and move that “bang” off of her forehead. It’s like she has to keep her head tilted to keep it there.
Whew! There, I feel better now.

Sure, as a “King of Comedy” he had some funny moments…even a few on that sitcom he had..but as a relationship expert & radio host…ugh..I can do w/out him.
LMAO @ Wizard of Oz! She sure does!

Interesting how celebrity (making ppl laugh) somehow qualifies you to be an expert on relationships. I thought the first book was honestly a comedic view of dating and relationships. I had no idea he was serious until recently, but I fault those validating him by supporting him and negating advice of real experts because he is saying what they wanna here at the moment. I haven’t personally read any of them and won’t be, but to each his own.

If he didn’t have all the money and fame, Marjorie would definitely not be “standing by her man.” If I were her, I’d be nervous about my position given his track record.
I feel bad for Mary, but she did it to herself–knowing how he did his wife before her. Old dogs like him don’t change overnight. Anybody listening to him about relationship advice, is like the blind leading the blind. The whole thing is a mess.

I knew it was something about him that just didnt sit well with me. I dont feel bad for any of the women he has been involved with. You have to know that when you are married or cheating with a celebrity you better be stacking your paper on the side (like Shawnie) because it will be short lived. When I read that letter from one of the mistresses I got the most awful stomachache just thinking about him that way. UGH!!!!! Lastly, I can’t stand his show and those women that work for him…whatever!

Wow! This is news to me, but I must say I’m not surprised. Steve Harvey is always insinuating that it’s acceptable for men to be unfaithful on his show.

Finally a venue I can vent about Mr “so call” Steve Harvey. to my knowledge God has been here since the beginning of time, so why is it Mr so call harvey didn’t “find him “seek him” talk & worship him, until “AFTER” he cheated on his devoted wife of 16 years or during his broke days, then suddenly found God “after” he did his dirt, cheated then married his lil sexy scant, and become filtyh rich?? Well he should had sought God when him and his wife of 16 yrs were having problems..he’s the typical man, get caught and then he’s ready to use the good name of God to clean-up and clear their bad deeds and name!! his next book should be – (how to seek God after you do your Dirt and feel good about yourself–gurantee you won’t go to hell)!!I love to listen to Steve harvey show for (entertainment purposes only) to make me laugh on the way to the office, because Steve harvey is one BIG JOKE!
