Change is good, so they say (I still haven’t figured out who ‘they’ are). As you can see, I changed my site’s template. I was getting tired of the ‘busy’ colors from the old template. There was way to much going on with it, in my opinion. After searching around for what seemed like forever and after a few tweeks here & there, I finally finished changing the template around. I think from now on, I’ll try to update my design every 4-6 months, just to have a ‘fresh’ new look. I think because of my personality, I tend to get bored easily, looking at the same things day in and day out.

Another change that happened this weekend, is that I spent the whole weekend at home, doing absolutely nothing. For the past couple of weekends, I’ve been running around either taking care of errands or traveling, but none of that took place this weekend. Unfortunately, I wish I could say it happened that way intentionally, but that’s somewhat not the case. First my garbage disposal broke, so I spent most of the afternoon waiting for the repair man, which also made me miss out on my niece’s 2nd birthday. Of course when you get a four hour window in regards to house-calls, the repair people always tend to come at the end of the window. By the time they were done, the weather outside was horrible and at that point, I wasn’t even in the mood to leave the house.

So this weekend didn’t include anything exciting. I didn’t make it to my nieces birthday party. I didn’t spend time with HWSRN (he who shall remain nameless). I left the house Sunday afternoon, so I could do some grocery shopping. I ended up eating wayyyyyyy too much food and was the quintessential lazy bum for the rest of the day.

But wait!

Tomorrow is Monday. Should I stay home, or should I go into work? Decisions, decisions. Maybe I could make up for the laziness of my weekend and actually do something interesting today, that doesn’t involve me sitting behind a desk in my office. I guess we’ll see how I feel once the clock turns to 7 a.m.

So how was YOUR weekend? Please tell me someone did something exciting??

Also, how about a little poll question, about the new theme:

Well, I definitely like the new site design! Like you said, it’s not as ‘busy’ as the other one. It has a more ‘clean’ look to it!

I like the new site too! Yesterday was pretty chill for me..I got the kid ready to go with his football team down to Charlotte for the Panther’s game today. He was BESIDE himself with excitement! Of course I was the opposite; it’s the first time that “he’s” been that far away from me overnight.
Anywho…some girlfriends and I went out to dinner and a movie. If you havne’t seen The Secret Life of Bees, GO SEE IT (and take a box of tissue)! Given what I told you the other day, it was just what I needed!
And go to work tomorrow!!!! lol

Girl, I was in tears while I was watching that movie! One of the best movies I’ve seen in a long time! I mean, boo-hoo, trying to catch my breath tears!
Oh yeah, was it b/c it wasn’t the Steelers playing? LOL!

I love the page…I love simplicity and neutral colors sometimes. I change mine often. I love to switch things up…I get bored easily too. LOL
You NEED to kick back sometimes. You stay on the go. Slow down. I hate that you missed the baby’s party though. I was looking forward to the pics. hehe
