There Will Never Be Another: FLOTUS Michelle Obama’s Breathtaking Style Moment At The Final State Of The Union Address

Per usual, FLOTUS Michelle Obama looked stunning last night at President Obama’s final State of the Union address. Dressed in a curve hugging marigold wool crepe Narciso Rodriguez dress, we were all on the edge of our seats hoping to catch another glimpse when the camera panned. The internet was ablaze with admiration for Mrs. Obama’s State Of The Union look and wasted no time hunting the dress down.

Originally priced at $2095, the sleeveless banded bodice midi dress was on sale for $628 and but the time the President’s speech wrapped for the night, it was completely sold out. The likelihood that this epic level of style and grace makes it through those White House doors again is slim to none so needless to say, we’re soaking up the last of it while there’s still time.

The dress is amazing and most importantly, First Lady Michelle Obama is beautiful inside and out. Her radiance is found in her courage and strength. From the South Side of Chicago to Washington, D.C., Michelle Obama has promoted elegance, intellectual curiosity, and social activism. Her life is a testament to the resilient spirit found in black people. She is right to promote exercise for the youth and all people. She is right to describe the racism in society via speeches while expressing hope for the future. The movement for human justice will continue. Social movements mean that there must be grassroots organizing and a dedicated adherence to real principles too. So, First Lady Michelle Obama is not only gorgeous and stunning in beauty. She is a great mother, a strong leader, and an inspiration for black women and women in general. She is a black woman who doesn’t back down. We all give respect to her and to her children. She is flawless, because she woke up like this. 🙂

I was watching and went online just to look for the dress. Just to look… It was sold out and the man was still talking.

I know what everyone means by saying she’s the jackie o of our time but with historically great black people always having to have white comparisons and my lack of interest in jackie’s pill box hats I feel like Michelle is in a league of her own. From her looks to her philanthropy

Michelle Obama looked beautiful and is such an inspiration. She truly broke the mold of the tradition first lady and created a lane of her own. Michelle Obama, President Obama (regardless of what some feel about his politics) and their family will surely be missed once they step out of the spotlight of the White House because their being and simply existing combated a lot of the status quo people love to say about Black people and Black representation/images.
