Watch Sanaa Lathan & Michael Ealy Square Off in Tense First Clip of ‘The Perfect Guy’

The Perfect Guy

I don’t know about you, but I cannot wait to see Sanaa Lathan and Michael Ealy’s new thriller, The Perfect Guy.

Arriving in theaters this September, The Perfect Guy follows Leah Vaughn (Lathan), a political lobbyist who heads back into the dating game after breaking up with her longtime love (MorrisChestnut) who isn’t giving her want she wants. After meeting a man who sweeps her off her feet (Ealy), Leah’s love life becomes extremely complicated when her ex-resurfaces and the man she thought was so perfect turns out to be anything but.

Produced by Sony and written by Tyger Williams, who also penned Menace II Society, The Perfect Guy just rolled a tense sneak peek that makes me want to see the film RIGHT NOW.

Take a look:

Missed the original trailer? Here it is.

Will you be seeing The Perfect Guy when it hits theaters September 11?

I like all three of these actors but this plot is unoriginal.

I won’t be seeing this, because it’s unoriginal and the trailer pretty much gives away the whole movie.

Maybe I’m crazy, but I’m expecting it to be a swerve and Morris Chestnut’s character will be the bad guy. LOL Or am I giving it too much credit? I’m thinking about going to see this, though. I’m usually super-picky about the movies I see, but I’ve been in the mood to go to the movies more often.
