Nicki Minaj and Teen Mom Star Farrah Abraham were involved in a war of words on Twitter yesterday afternoon. It all started when the rapper called Farrah out for the way she treated her mom. If you’ve ever watched the show, then you know exactly why Nicki was so pissed. The way Farrah speaks to her mother, you would think she was talking to a disobedient dog or maybe even a stray raccoon. But the incident that sparked Nicki’s latest bout of rage was from that latest episode of Teen Mom OG, where after a fight about watching her daughter Sophia, Abraham told her mother Debra, “Somebody who is blind and I could just pay, could babysit better than you.”

Abraham responded by claiming that Nicki’s music videos look like porn. Minaj quickly clapped back but Farrah quickly bowed out of the Twitter ring, stating that she didn’t have time to argue.

Do you watch Teen Mom OG? Was Nicki justified in her dragging?

Its Reality TV, so it would not be surprising if she was asked to act that way on purpose towards her mother. It has to be dramatic enough to enage an audience. Nicki Minaj was watching repeats and should of stayed of twitter if she knew it was going to start dragging Farrah. Farrah has not made the best choices and nobody will really know what she is like because her life is for the cameras and nothing. Also before Nikki starts judging others families she should be looking at her brother and this rape allegations before she is quick to bring someone else down. if your your going to talk someone down at least make sure your side of the fence is all roses.

I was wondering if anyone was going to bring up her attitude towards her brother’s rape situation, just makes me dislike her more but Nicki has a history of being hypocritical/hothead.

If it was any other reality show I would believe producers tell her to be be rude to her mother for the drama. But, teen mom did not start out as the typical show created just to show drama, at least not that type of drama. The episode Nicki referred to is only from last week.

It started so it could make reality stars out of Teen Moms. Why? This is not something new. I don’t understand for Americans to make everything into a reality TV show. In the UK the closet you would get is a realistic documentary on teen mums and how its not the best option everything to prevent girls from getting pregnant or thinking this is what they want. I’m not criticizing anyone who was or is a teen mum but I feel they would even say its not all sensationalised and dram fuel show. Its MTV so I would not be surprised it is just as bad Catfish. If they were to be realistic there would be little not no ratings so they got to add drama to spike the ratings somehow. I doubt MTV was looking for a realistic outlook as people don’t want real they want drama.

I do not believe Teen Mom was created to turn the girls into stars. This show started before everybody and their mama was on a reality show. It was a spin off of the documentary type show 16 and Pregnant. I do think it was supposed to show girls what it is like to be a teen parent. Whether that actually happened is a different story. The problem is that after the first season the girls had the money they made from the show so they certainly were better off than a typical teen mom financially. Reports do show that teen pregnancy has been on the define since the show began. MTV credits the show with that but I don’t know how it can be proven (they may have done surveys but I don’t know). The girls became “stars” because the show became so popular. But, no one on the show has an enviable life. I do not think any girl would watch this show and want to emulate any of these girls.

The way speaks to her mother is disgusting. I do not believe that is scripted. Farrah speaks to everyone like that, including the MTV producers and her boyfriend. A few years back she had to do a presentation to a panel of teachers when she was in culinary arts school. Farrah said the teachers told her she came off “bitchy” during her presentation. she has a constant attitude she cannot hide. She is horrible to everyone. But, she seems to give her mother the worst treatment. I do believe they have some issues that have never been shown. When she was on Couples Therapy, Dr. Jen said that Farrah had some horrific experiences in her life but did not say what.

No amount of money on Earth would cause me to disrespect my mother on any reality TV show period. Anyone who disrespects their mother in public or in private is wrong and have lax character. Many white folks (and some even black folks) disrespect their family members for money. That is a disgrace. I haven’t heard of Farrah Abraham a day in my life until today. Both of them expressed their views. Nicki Minaj is always honest about what she thinks. She isn’t the type of person to sugarcoat her views. I don’t agree with Nicki using certain vile language about Farrah since it’s wrong and others (who hate Nicki) will use her comments against her or Nicki. We have to use chess not checkers when we comment about these reality TV stars who disrespect their own mothers. Also, Nicki’s brother is being accused of rape. Therefore, overall, both parties have some growing up to do.

Nicki Minaj needs to worry about her brother being charged with raping a child more than Farrah Abraham and her mother’s relationship. I haven’t watched Teen Mom in ages but Farrah Abraham and her mom’s relationship has always been presented as strained and layered with disrespect so I am not surprised that the relationship is still toxic. I found it disgusting then and I find it sad now, they are seriously in need for intervention because their problems seems to go beyond her simply being a teen mom. Personally, her mother is good because I would have not fault her at all from washing her hands of Farrah. However, I do agree that it is not what you say but HOW you say it. Nicki clearly knows what she is doing with the language usage and knows that she is only in the spotlight right now because of all of these twitter publicity stunts/ so called dragging. I guess her and her boyfriend have that in common…side eye.

Nicki Minaj has made fun of numerous black women (random people not famous people) who said something about her she didn’t like. She’d post about them on her twitter or instagram page so that her fans could insult them and rag on them. It’s almost always black women she does this to. Why no posts anywhere (not just here) about that?
