Congratulations to Kandi Burruss and her husband, Todd Rucker. The couple welcomed into the world their first child together Wednesday morning.
“Todd and I have been waiting so long for his delivery and he is so very perfect,” Burruss, 39, told PEOPLE.
Their new bundle of joy was born at 8:42 a.m., weighing in at 7 lbs., 6 oz.
Kandi, who also has a 14-year-old, detailed the struggles of getting pregnant for a second time during RHOA, and was glad when it finally happened.
“We’ve been looking forward to this moment,” Burruss said in July after revealing she was expecting. “I’m ecstatic.”
