Janet Jackson is doing fine, y’all. And says she doesn’t have cancer, but she’s not saying what illness interfered with a concert tour.
On her Twitter account Wednesday, Jackson posted a two-minute clip from her song “The Great Forever,” followed by a written message in which she said she was “recovering” but offered no further details.
“Remember… believe it when you hear it from my lips,” she wrote. “The rumors are untrue. I do not have cancer. I’m recovering.”

Earlier this week, reports surfaced that the singer was being treated for throat cancer, and apparently that is not the case. Jackson also says her tour will resume, but did give information as to when.
Jackson had been next scheduled to perform Saturday in Denver. She was scheduled to perform in Europe in March.
