ICYMI: Taraji P. Henson Sings About How “She Made It” During SNL Monologue

“After 20 years in show business, white people finally know who I am,” Taraji P. Henson shouted as she started her monologue on Saturday Night Live over the weekend.

Henson showed off her singing skills when she sung about  “making it” after 20 years in show business.

“I could have passed out samples in a grocery store / On Law and Order I could have played a corpse.”

Joining Henson to testify was Kenan Thompson who sang, “I could have been the oldest cast member on Goodburger 7!” and Pete Davidson joined in and joked about his youth, “I could have been a normal, well-adjusted college sophomore.”

Clutchettes, did you catch Taraji’s episode of SNL? What did you think about it?

Wow, I knew SNL got bad but that was horrendous! It wasn’t even a little funny SMH. Plus Another Black celebrity playing into white folks for acceptance…

I saw this when it aired. Not sure but, I thought she threw up the satan sign right before the choir came out.

I know, I’m the only one who saw it. I’m crazy.

As much as I am happy for Taraji’s success, i couldn’t be bothered to watch this it looked awful. SNL just needs to have the plug pulled
